Electric vehicle manufacturer Zeekr has introduced its latest offering, the Zeekr 7X family SUV, to the European market. This marks the third European launch for Zeekr, following the successful debut of the Zeekr 001 shooting brake and Zeekr X compact SUV. The company has announced that pre-sales for the Zeekr 7X are now open in the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway, with the first customer deliveries scheduled for the summer of 2025.
Pricing for the Zeekr 7X starts at 52,990 euros in the Netherlands, 529,000 Swedish kronor in Sweden, and 539,900 Norwegian kronor in Norway. These prices reflect the additional costs associated with tariffs and transportation in the European market.
The Zeekr 7X was originally launched in China on September 20, and is the second model in Zeekr’s lineup for the mainstream EV market. The vehicle is available in three variants in China, with prices starting at RMB 229,900. The European version of the Zeekr 7X has been designed by Zeekr’s global design center in Gothenburg, Sweden, and features the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) modular vehicle platform.
The Zeekr 7X in Europe comes in three variants: Premium, Long Range, and Performance. The Premium and Long Range models are single-motor rear-wheel-drive vehicles, while the Performance model is a dual-motor four-wheel-drive model. The Premium model is equipped with a 75-kWh Golden Battery pack, while the Long Range and Performance models feature a 100-kWh battery pack.
With an 800 V high-voltage architecture, the Zeekr 7X can achieve peak charging power of up to 480 kW. This allows the Premium model to be recharged to 10-80 percent in just 13 minutes, while the Long Range and Performance models can reach the same charge level in 16 minutes using a 360 kW fast charger.
Zeekr has been expanding its international presence and has entered over 40 major global markets, including Sweden, Australia, UAE, Singapore, and Mexico. In Europe, the company began pre-sales of the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X in June 2023, with deliveries starting in December of the same year. To date, Zeekr has delivered vehicles in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Germany.
In November, Zeekr achieved a record-high delivery of 27,011 vehicles, marking the third consecutive month of growth. The company aims to deliver 230,000 vehicles by the end of 2024. With the introduction of the Zeekr 7X to the European market, Zeekr is poised to further solidify its position as a key player in the global electric vehicle industry.
