Shanghai (Gasgoo) – NIO recently made a significant announcement, unveiling its 2,800th battery swapping station in China. The company also disclosed that its users have completed over 60 million battery swaps to date. This achievement marks a major milestone for NIO as it continues to expand its network of battery swapping stations across the country.

This initiative focuses on building county-level electric vehicle charging and battery swapping networks in China. By June 30, 2025, NIO plans to have its battery swapping stations installed in over 1,200 counties across 14 provincial-level administrative divisions. This strategic expansion will enhance accessibility to charging facilities for NIO users nationwide.
As of December 16, NIO has established a total of 2,802 battery swapping stations and deployed 4,175 charging stations with 24,555 charging piles throughout China.
