Skoda Enyaq to get new look inspired by Vision 7S concept

Skoda Enyaq to Receive Major Update Inspired by Vision 7S Concept

The Skoda Enyaq is set to undergo a significant update later this year, drawing inspiration from the Vision 7S concept car.

Recently released design sketches from Skoda showcase a new Tech Deck face for the electric family SUV, reminiscent of the 7S concept. This includes a sleek, flush-fit plastic panel in place of a traditional front grille, slim LED daytime running lights, and ‘Skoda’ lettering replacing the brand’s logo.

The revamped front end is not only visually striking but also more aerodynamic, promising an improvement in range. While specific details on the extended driving range have not been disclosed, the current Enyaq boasts a maximum range of up to 358 miles.

Among the visible changes in the sketches is the introduction of silver side skirting, replacing the plain-black plastic on the existing Enyaq model. These updates align the EV with its newly introduced smaller counterpart, the Elroq.

As the Enyaq reaches the midpoint of its lifecycle, having been introduced in 2020, reports suggest that it is slated for a replacement in 2028. Despite this, the Enyaq has been a standout success for Skoda, ranking as the fifth best-selling EV in Europe last year with 66,247 units sold. It trailed behind only Tesla’s Model Y and Model 3, the Volkswagen ID 4, and the MG 4 EV in sales figures.

Enthusiasts can expect to see the facelifted Enyaq in its entirety early next year, showcasing the full extent of its design and technological enhancements.
