Voyah, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand under Dongfeng Motor, closed out 2024 with a total of 85,697 vehicle deliveries. While this marked a significant 69.52 percent increase from the previous year, it fell short of the company’s target of 100,000 units for the year.
In December alone, Voyah set a new record with 12,136 vehicles delivered, making it the third consecutive month of record-breaking performance. This represented a 21.15 percent increase compared to the same period last year and an 11.79 percent growth from November’s figures.
Looking ahead to 2025, Voyah has set an ambitious goal of selling 200,000 vehicles. CEO Lu Fang outlined this target in an internal communication, emphasizing the company’s plans to introduce at least four new or updated models throughout the year. Additionally, Voyah aims to expand its global presence with 400 stores worldwide by the end of 2025.
Since its inception in 2020, Voyah has steadily expanded its lineup, starting with the Voyah Free in June 2021. Subsequent models, including the Dream MPV in May 2022, the Zhuiguang sedan in April 2023, and the Zhiyin electric SUV in October 2024, have contributed to the brand’s growing popularity.
The Zhiyin, also known as the Courage in international markets, competes directly with the Tesla Model Y and has received positive reviews for its performance and features.
As Voyah continues to innovate and expand its product offerings, the brand is poised for further growth and success in the competitive EV market. Stay tuned for more updates on Voyah’s latest developments and achievements on CnEVPost.
