Chinese eVTOL startup, INFLYNC, secures tens of millions in angel+ funding round

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- INFLYNC, a Chinese startup specializing in the design and manufacturing of tilt-rotating ducted-wing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, recently announced the successful completion of its angel+ funding round, raising tens of millions of yuan.

The funding round was led by Boyan Venture Capital, with Shanghai Angel Group also participating in the investment.

The newly acquired funds, with InvesTarget as the exclusive financial advisor, will be utilized to facilitate the rollout and testing of INFLYNC’s first full-scale tilt ducted-wing eVTOL aircraft, expediting its commercial deployment.

Back in August 2024, INFLYNC successfully completed its angel funding rounds, raising tens of millions of yuan to support its operations.

INFLYNC’s core technical team is composed of experts from reputable organizations such as AVIC, COMAC, Alef Aeronautics, MagniX, and CATL, bringing in extensive experience in civil aviation, new energy vehicles, and eVTOL technologies.

Employing a meticulous development approach, including modeling and simulation, wind tunnel testing, and flight trials, INFLYNC has completed multiple design iterations. The company proudly announced that it is the first in China to achieve transition flight with a tilt-ducted wing eVTOL aircraft.

Recently, INFLYNC unveiled its flagship product, the INFLYNC L600 Pioneer, an eVTOL aircraft designed for urban air mobility. Featuring a hybrid extended-range tilt-ducted wing design, the L600 Pioneer offers a maximum range of 600 km, a top cruising speed of 360 km/h, and the capacity to accommodate one pilot and five passengers. With support for multiple takeoff and landing cycles on a single charge, it is optimized for low-altitude urban travel, prioritizing safety, performance, noise reduction, and adaptability for future technological advancements.

INFLYNC has already secured over 500 pre-orders for the L600 Pioneer, positioning the aircraft to cater to short-haul transportation markets and helicopter operation scenarios in China and countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.
