Zeekr Unveils Zeekr 007 GT: A New Addition to the Shooting Brake Segment

Zeekr, a prominent electric vehicle (EV) maker, recently teased its latest model, the Zeekr 007 GT, in a bid to make its mark in the shooting brake model category. This new model marks the company’s second foray into the shooting brake-style segment following the Zeekr 001.

The Zeekr 007 GT is derived from the Zeekr 007 sedan and is slated for launch in the second quarter of this year. The company shared the first three images of the model, giving enthusiasts a sneak peek into what to expect.

This unveiling of the Zeekr 007 GT comes as a surprise, with little prior information about the model. According to Zeekr’s announcement on Weibo, the “GT” in the model’s name stands for Grand Tour, hinting at the vehicle’s potential for long-distance travel.

The company hinted at an upcoming adventure with the Zeekr 007 GT, leaving fans eager for more details. It was also revealed that the model will be known as the Zeekr 7 GT in international markets.

CEO of Zeekr, Andy An, disclosed plans to launch three new models in 2025, one in each quarter from the second to the fourth. Among these models, a shooting brake variant based on the Zeekr 007 electric sedan is expected to debut in the second quarter.

The Zeekr 007 GT signifies the brand’s commitment to innovation and expansion in the EV market. With sleek design elements and cutting-edge technology, the model is poised to attract a new wave of consumers seeking luxury and performance in an electric vehicle.
