Xpeng’s G7 SUV, which has recently been revealed in a regulatory filing, is set to make waves in the electric vehicle market. The G7 boasts similar dimensions to Tesla’s facelifted Model Y, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm and overall measurements of 4,892 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height.

The G7 is available in two model numbers, NHQ6490BEVMA and NHQ6490BEVMB, both manufactured at Xpeng’s factories in Guangzhou and Zhaoqing, Guangdong province. With a weight ranging from 2,085 kg to 2,160 kg, the G7 is powered by a single electric motor with a peak power of 218 kW and features lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries from CALB.

The all-electric G7 supports a top speed of 202 kilometers per hour and is designed as a five-seater SUV. Xpeng’s vice president, Yu Tao, has described the G7 as a competitive option in the RMB 250,000 ($34,100) price range, highlighting its AI technology and spacious interior.

The G7 is expected to be a popular choice for families seeking a stylish and technologically advanced SUV. With sleek design elements and cutting-edge features, the G7 is positioned to be a strong competitor in the electric vehicle market. Stay tuned for more updates on Xpeng’s latest offering as it prepares to hit the roads.
