Arcfox, the EV unit of BAIC Group, has recently partnered with Nio to access its charging network, making it the 16th brand to do so. This collaboration aims to provide Arcfox users with a seamless charging experience through Nio’s extensive network of supercharging and destination charging stations in China.

Nio Power, the power unit of Nio, announced the partnership with Arcfox on the Nio App, highlighting the benefits of wide coverage, efficient inquiries, and user-friendly charging services. Arcfox users can easily locate and utilize Nio’s charging piles through their mobile app and mini program, enhancing their overall charging experience.

With a network of 2,623 supercharging stations and 1,683 destination charging stations, Nio boasts the largest charging infrastructure among Chinese carmakers. This network is open to various EV brands, including Xiaomi EV, Chery, Dongfeng M-Hero, Huawei HIMA, FAW Hongqi, and GAC Energy, who have all partnered with Nio for access to its charging facilities.

In addition to its charging stations, Nio also offers signature battery swap stations, with a total of 3,035 stations, including 952 along highways. This innovative technology allows Nio users to quickly swap out their depleted batteries for fully charged ones, providing a convenient alternative to traditional charging.

Arcfox, as a relatively new player in the Chinese automotive market, has shown promising growth, with sales reaching 81,017 units in 2024, marking a significant increase of 169.91% compared to the previous year. By tapping into Nio’s charging network, Arcfox aims to further enhance its services and cater to the growing demand for electric vehicles in China.

Overall, the partnership between Arcfox and Nio demonstrates the importance of collaboration in the EV industry to provide users with convenient and efficient charging solutions. As the demand for electric vehicles continues to rise, initiatives like these are essential in promoting sustainable transportation and reducing reliance on traditional fossil fuels.
