Xpeng’s Mona M03 electric sedan continues to make waves in the EV market, with deliveries surpassing 60,000 units as of January 18. The sedan, which officially launched on August 27, 2024, has proven to be a popular choice among consumers, offering three variants with competitive pricing starting at RMB 119,800 ($16,370). This makes it the least expensive model in Xpeng’s lineup, priced at about half the cost of Tesla’s Model 3.

The Mona M03’s success can be attributed to its affordability and impressive performance. With deliveries reaching 50,000 units by January 3, the sedan has consistently contributed to Xpeng’s overall monthly deliveries, with 15,904 units delivered in December alone. In fact, the Mona M03 accounted for 43 percent of Xpeng’s deliveries in December, highlighting its significance in the company’s sales figures.

In addition to the Mona M03, Xpeng offers a range of other models for sale, including the G6, P7+, G9, X9, P7i, and P5. Among these, the P7+ stands out as another popular choice, delivering 10,035 units in December and accumulating a total of 17,507 units sold. Xpeng’s diverse lineup caters to different consumer preferences and price points, ensuring that there is a suitable option for every EV enthusiast.

Looking ahead, Xpeng has already started teasing its upcoming G7 SUV, set to compete in the RMB 250,000 class. The company’s commitment to innovation and expanding its product offerings demonstrates its dedication to staying ahead in the competitive EV market. With the success of the Mona M03 and other models, Xpeng is poised for continued growth and success in the coming year.
