Xiaomi EV, the electric vehicle arm of tech giant Xiaomi, is making waves in the EV market with its impressive delivery numbers and ambitious goals for the future. The company recently announced that deliveries of its first model, the SU7, exceeded 20,000 units in January, marking the fourth consecutive month of achieving this milestone. With such consistent performance, Xiaomi EV is well on track to meet its target of delivering 300,000 units by the end of 2025.

The SU7, which was officially launched in March 2024, has been a hit among consumers, offering three versions at varying price points. The success of the SU7 has even surpassed Tesla’s Model 3 deliveries in China on multiple occasions in 2024. Xiaomi’s founder and CEO, Lei Jun, revealed in a live video that the company delivered over 135,000 vehicles in 2024 and aims to double that number in 2025.

Looking ahead, Xiaomi EV has exciting plans in store for its product lineup. The company is set to launch its second model, the YU7, a sleek SUV expected to hit the market in the summer of 2025. Additionally, Xiaomi has introduced a performance variant of the SU7, known as the SU7 Ultra, which is positioned as a premium offering in the electric vehicle segment.

To support its growing customer base, Xiaomi EV has been expanding its sales and service network. The company added 16 new sales outlets in January, bringing the total to 216 across 64 cities. With plans to open five more stores in February, Xiaomi EV is committed to providing top-notch service to its customers.

In line with its rapid growth and strong demand, Xiaomi EV has garnered attention from analysts and industry experts. Goldman Sachs, for instance, projects that Xiaomi will sell 350,000 EVs in 2025 and a staggering 655,000 units in 2026, highlighting the company’s potential in the electric vehicle market.

With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, Xiaomi EV is poised to become a major player in the EV industry. As the company continues to expand its product portfolio, enhance its delivery capabilities, and strengthen its presence in key markets, Xiaomi EV is well-positioned for success in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle landscape.
