Lotus Cars Unveils New ELETRE and EMEYA Models in China

Lotus Cars has recently introduced two new luxury sports vehicle models, the ELETRE and EMEYA, to the Chinese market. The ELETRE, also known as “Xiahua” in Chinese Pinyin, is a high-performance luxury SUV with six different variants starting at 548,000 yuan. The top-spec model is priced at 1.018 million yuan, showcasing Lotus’ iconic design elements blended with modern styling for a perfect balance of sportiness and luxury.

On the other hand, the EMEYA, or “Fanhua” in Chinese Pinyin, is a luxury sports sedan priced starting at 528,000 yuan. Like the ELETRE, it also comes in six variants with the highest priced at 1.008 million yuan. Both models offer a combination of performance, style, and luxury that cater to the discerning Chinese market.

In celebration of its 77th anniversary, Lotus Cars has released a limited-edition series based on the ELETRE and EMEYA, with only 398 units available. Each vehicle in this series features a special commemorative nameplate showcasing classic Lotus models from the brand’s history. Prices for these limited-edition models range from 588,000 yuan to 608,000 yuan, offering collectors a unique piece of automotive history.

Aside from the new vehicle launches, Lotus Cars has also showcased its latest advancements in intelligence technology. Both the ELETRE and EMEYA come equipped with the “Doubao” AI assistant, providing enhanced user convenience and personalization. This AI system allows for voice control of in-car functions, weather updates, navigation, and more, making the driving experience more seamless and enjoyable.

Furthermore, Lotus Cars has made significant progress in autonomous driving technology. By the end of February, the new models will receive an over-the-air update introducing urban navigation assistance for 16 cities, further enhancing their capabilities in automated driving. This demonstrates Lotus Cars’ commitment to innovation and staying at the forefront of automotive technology.
