Nio, the popular electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently made changes to the wait times for its various models in China. According to CnEVPost’s daily monitoring, the wait times for the ET7 sedan and ES8 flagship SUV have been reduced to 2-3 weeks from the previous 3-4 weeks. On the other hand, the wait time for the EC7 coupe SUV has been extended to 4-5 weeks.

Nio currently offers nine models, including the ET9 which is yet to start deliveries. The wait times for the ET5, ET5 Touring, ES6, and EC6 remain unchanged at 2-3 weeks. The latest update reveals that the wait time for the ET9 is 11-12 weeks, with deliveries set to begin at the end of this month.

The ET9, which was unveiled at the Nio Day 2024 event, comes with a starting price of RMB 788,000 ($108,190) including the battery, making it Nio’s highest-priced model to date. Nio has announced that the ET9 is in the final stages of preparation before delivery, with plans to open for test drives and commence deliveries in late March.

In addition to the main Nio brand, the sub-brand Onvo also offers the L60 model, which currently has a wait time of 4-6 weeks. Nio Inc. reported delivering 13,192 vehicles in February, marking a significant increase from the same period last year. However, deliveries for the Onvo sub-brand decreased by 31.51 percent compared to January.

Overall, Nio continues to make waves in the electric vehicle market, with its lineup of innovative and high-performing models attracting a growing number of customers. Stay tuned for more updates on Nio’s wait times and delivery schedules.
