Huawei’s HIMA business announced today that the BEV variant of the Aito M8, known as the Aito M8 EV, has already secured over 10,000 pre-orders within just 8 hours of starting pre-sales. This remarkable achievement highlights the strong demand and interest in this electric vehicle.

The Aito M8 EV, which is a battery electric vehicle, was launched for pre-sales earlier today with an attractive starting price of RMB 378,000 ($52,730). Customers who place a deposit of RMB 5,000 to reserve the model will not only secure their order but also receive a RMB 5,000 discount and a complimentary purple exterior worth RMB 8,000. This offer has clearly resonated with consumers, leading to the surge in pre-orders.

Scheduled for an official launch in August, the Aito M8 EV is a product of the collaboration between Huawei and Seres Group under the Aito brand. The original Aito M8, a large SUV, was initially introduced on April 16 with an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variant priced at RMB 359,800.

The success of the Aito M8 EV in securing over 10,000 pre-orders within such a short period underscores the growing popularity and acceptance of electric vehicles in the market. With the EV industry gaining momentum globally, it is evident that consumers are increasingly drawn to innovative and sustainable transportation solutions.

In conclusion, the Aito M8 EV’s impressive pre-order numbers demonstrate the strong interest in electric vehicles and the potential for further growth in the EV market. As the automotive industry continues to evolve towards electrification, it is clear that products like the Aito M8 EV are well-positioned to meet the changing demands of consumers.
