Alexander Pollich appointed as President and CEO of Porsche China

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Porsche has announced that Alexander Pollich will be taking over as President and CEO of Porsche China, starting September 1, 2024. He will be responsible for overseeing Porsche’s operations in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao. The current President and CEO, Michael Kirsch, will be transitioning to a new role within the group.

Alexander Pollich brings 23 years of experience with Porsche to his new role. With a background in sales and international business, Pollich has held key positions within the company, most recently as Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Deutschland GmbH. His expertise in sales will be crucial in leading Porsche’s operations in the Chinese market.

Pollich, 57, has a strong background in business administration and economics. Prior to his role in Germany, he served as CEO of Porsche Canada and Porsche UK, where he successfully expanded the brand’s presence. Pollich has also worked in Porsche’s strategic department and played a key role in developing the brand’s global sales network.

In his new role, Pollich will focus on implementing a growth strategy for the Chinese market that aligns with Porsche’s values and brand identity. He will also work closely with local dealer partners to optimize internal processes and structures.
