Arcfox, the electric vehicle (EV) arm of Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), recently announced a significant reduction in prices for some of its models in an effort to boost sales. The company has lowered the official guide prices of two models and is also offering a limited-time offer for another model.
One of the models that has seen a price reduction is the Arcfox αT5 mid-size SUV. The price of this vehicle has been slashed by 23.11 percent, bringing the starting price down to RMB 119,800 ($16,440) from RMB 155,800. This reduction amounts to a decrease of RMB 36,000 in the starting price of the Arcfox αT5.
In addition to the price cut for the Arcfox αT5, the company has also reduced the prices of the entire range of the Arcfox αS5 electric sedan by RMB 32,000. Customers interested in purchasing these models can also benefit from a RMB 8,000 voucher subsidy. Furthermore, Arcfox is offering a limited-time offer of RMB 10,000 for the Kaola S model.
The Arcfox αT5 SUV is available in five variants, with prices now ranging from RMB 119,800 to RMB 167,800. The Arcfox αS5 electric sedan comes in four versions, with starting prices ranging from RMB 127,800 to RMB 184,800. The Kaola S model is offered in two versions, with starting prices of RMB 109,800 and RMB 119,800 respectively.
This move by Arcfox to lower prices and offer discounts aims to attract more customers and increase sales of their electric vehicles.
