The collaboration between AutoFlight and Wuhan Hanyang Investment Development Group aims to conduct pilot projects for specialized low-altitude and passenger-carrying transport scenarios. This partnership is set to accelerate the adoption of large eVTOL aircraft technology.
Both parties have plans to establish a final assembly base and sales center for central China. This facility will support aircraft assembly, testing, flight trials, sales, deliveries, and exhibitions.
In the Hanyang district of Wuhan city, an “All-scenario Low-altitude Demonstration Center” will be established to develop unmanned applications in regional logistics, aerial emergency response, and firefighting. The center will also pilot passenger-carrying transport operations, leveraging approved aerial travel routes along the Yangtze River’s north bank to expand “low-altitude + cultural tourism” initiatives and advance urban air mobility in the district.
AutoFlight, founded in 2017, is a pioneer in China’s eVTOL aircraft sector. The company’s self-developed eVTOL aircraft have been successfully deployed in island logistics, medical sample transport, and commercial freight operations.

AutoFlight’s V2000EM PROSPERITY, a five-seat and mid-to-long-range eVTOL aircraft, is currently undergoing airworthiness certification and is expected to be put into commercial operation by 2026.
The recent procurement order includes cargo aircraft, emergency firefighting aircraft, and five-seat passenger-carrying aircraft.
