Avatr Technology, the electric vehicle (EV) unit of Changan Automobile, recently unveiled the Xpectra concept car ahead of the IAA Mobility show in Munich, Germany. This futuristic concept car features bold and luxurious interior and exterior designs, aiming to establish an emotional connection with the real world.

Measuring an impressive 5,843 mm in length, the Xpectra concept car is a sight to behold. The vehicle’s design emphasizes a connection to the real world, offering a unique and immersive driving experience. The prismatic glass cabin is constructed from multiple transparent glass panels, with a stunning glass roof that extends from the front to the rear of the car. The incorporation of gullwing doors adds a touch of elegance and showcases the spacious interior layout of the vehicle.

The Xpectra concept car adopts a minimalist aesthetic with a color palette dominated by white and silver-gray tones. This design choice is intended to evoke emotional expression and create a sense of luxury and sophistication for the driver and passengers.

Avatr Technology, originally a joint venture between Changan and Nio, has since evolved into a leading player in the EV market. The company recently refreshed its brand in collaboration with CATL and Huawei, announcing the development of EVs based on the co-created CHN architecture. This partnership has led to the successful launch of the Avatr 11 SUV, the company’s first model under the new brand.

In addition to the Avatr 11 SUV, the company offers a range of models in the Chinese domestic market, including the Avatr 06 sedan, Avatr 07 SUV, Avatr 12 sedan, and two limited-edition models: Avatr 011 and Avatr 012. These models showcase Avatr’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the EV space.
