AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand co-developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, has officially launched its first showroom in Thailand. The brand celebrated this milestone by delivering over 100 units of the AVATR 11 model to local customers.
In September, AVATR introduced the right-hand-drive version of the AVATR 11 in Thailand, offering customers two trim levels to choose from. The standard-range model is priced at 2,099,000 THB (approximately 447,000 yuan), while the long-range version is available for 2,299,000 THB (around 489,000 yuan). In comparison, the 2024 AVATR 11 starts at 300,800 yuan in China.
Thailand serves as a strategic hub for AVATR’s international expansion plans, with a focus on extending its presence throughout Southeast Asia and other right-hand-drive markets worldwide. The brand aims to expand its footprint in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with plans to enter more than 40 countries and establish over 90 authorized stores. By 2025, AVATR envisions operating in 50 countries across five continents, with a network of more than 100 official overseas showrooms.
AVATR has already made significant progress in markets like the UAE, Mexico, and Qatar, in line with its broader international growth objectives.
The opening of the first AVATR showroom in Thailand marks a significant step forward for the brand as it continues to expand its presence globally. With a strong focus on new energy vehicles and cutting-edge technology, AVATR is poised to make a lasting impact in the automotive industry.
