Aventon has recently introduced a new and improved version of its popular fat tire e-bike, the Aventure M. This new model features a mid-drive motor, offering more torque, smoother power delivery, and a more natural ride feel thanks to its double-sided torque sensor. With 100 Nm of torque, the Aventon A100 motor is rated at 750W and operates on a 36V system, allowing for pedal assist speeds up to 28 mph and a throttle top speed of 20 mph. Riders also have the option to set the bike to Class 1 or 2 limits using the companion app, providing flexibility in riding preferences.

In addition to the new motor, the Aventure M comes equipped with electronic shifting powered by a 10-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain and paddle shifters. Riders can choose to shift manually or use the Auto Shift feature, which automatically shifts based on torque and cadence. The bike also features an Uphill Start Assist function, providing extra torque when starting from a stop on steep grades.

The Aventure M boasts a range of up to 85 miles from its removable 36V 20Ah battery, with real-world range varying depending on terrain and assist level. The bike is built with 4-inch wide fat tires, a suspension seatpost, and an 80 mm front suspension fork, weighing in at around 73 lbs. The price for the Aventure M is set at $2,899, positioning it as a higher-performance alternative to the company’s existing Aventure model.

With features like GPS tracking, theft detection, and remote locking, the Aventure M offers a high level of connectivity and control through Aventon’s custom IoT system, the ACU. Riders can also benefit from over-the-air firmware updates and a passcode-locked on-switch for added security. The bike is available online and through Aventon’s network of partner dealers across the U.S.

Overall, the Aventure M represents a significant upgrade for Aventon, combining high-end components, smart features, and impressive performance in a sleek and rugged design. While the price point may be a bit higher than budget options, the value provided by the Aventure M’s advanced technology and capabilities makes it a solid choice for riders looking for a top-of-the-line e-bike experience.
