Baidu-backed DeepWay delivers 22 new energy heavy-duty trucks for logistics operation in Xingjiang

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- DeepWay, a leading developer of smart new energy trucks backed by Baidu, has recently inked a procurement agreement with Xinjiang Silk Road Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. The agreement involves the purchase of 72 new energy heavy-duty trucks, with the initial batch of 22 vehicles being handed over to Xinjiang Silk Road Supply Chain in Kuitun, Xinjiang.

During the handover event, Xie Wei, the general manager of Xinjiang Silk Road Supply Chain, expressed their satisfaction with DeepWay’s trucks, citing the vehicles’ advanced battery technology that offers long-range capabilities and fast charging. The trucks are set to enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s future growth trajectory.

Huang Weiqi, the general manager of DeepWay in Xinjiang, highlighted the company’s success in setting new delivery records for new energy heavy-duty trucks in 2024. The continuous influx of orders exceeding 100 vehicles from single clients is a testament to DeepWay’s growth and market confidence.

As part of the collaboration, Xinjiang Silk Road Supply Chain has ordered 72 new energy heavy-duty trucks from DeepWay, with the first 22 units already in operation. These trucks will primarily be used for transporting coal over a 70-kilometer route, showcasing exceptional energy efficiency even in extreme conditions.

This partnership signifies a strategic move for DeepWay in Xinjiang, aiming to drive green upgrades and intelligent transformation in the logistics sector. DeepWay remains committed to technological innovation and product optimization, offering clients efficient, eco-friendly, and intelligent transportation solutions for a smarter logistics landscape.
