Shanghai Baolong Automotive Corporation Secures Contracts for Automotive Sensors

Shanghai Baolong Automotive Corporation (Baolong), a leading auto parts supplier in China, has recently announced that it has secured designated contracts from overseas new energy vehicle manufacturers for its body height sensors, seat height sensors, and air brake pressure sensors. This news was shared in a press release issued by Baolong on July 29 through its official WeChat account.

The body height sensor, a type of angular sensor, is designed to detect the current height of the chassis in a vehicle. This information is crucial for the suspension system’s control and actuator units to work effectively together, thereby improving ride stability and comfort. Baolong’s height sensor utilizes non-contact 3D Hall-sensor technology and supports various protocols for seamless integration. It boasts high accuracy, fast response times, and meets stringent safety standards, operating reliably in extreme temperatures.

The air brake pressure sensor is an essential component in commercial vehicle pneumatic braking systems. It monitors real-time brake air pressure to ensure precise and safe braking operations. Baolong’s sensor utilizes ceramic capacitance technology for accurate measurements, offering high precision, temperature adaptability, and environmental protection.

Baolong has established a diverse portfolio of over 40 types of automotive sensors, including pressure, optical, speed, position, acceleration, and current sensing sensors. To support the growth of this business segment, the company completed and launched its automotive sensor industrial park in Shanghai’s Lingang Industrial Area in 2024. This facility serves as a hub for the development, testing, and production of high-end automotive sensors, catering to international markets.
