BMW isn’t wasting any time discounting its new 2026 EVs

BMW is offering huge discounts on its 2026 electric models in a bid to take advantage of the soon-to-expire $7,500 Federal tax incentive for EVs. The automaker is rolling out aggressive cash back, owner loyalty, and special financing rates on its latest EVs, setting the stage for some great deals for potential buyers.

BMW has a track record of offering loyalty incentive programs on its EVs in the early summer to clear out the previous model year’s inventory and make room for the new builds. However, this time around, the brand is offering some unusual loyalty deals that indicate a strong push to boost EV sales before the Federal tax incentive ends in September.

Dealers now have the option to add an additional $1,000 loyalty contribution on select 2026 EVs, with models like the i5 and i7 offering $1,000 and $4,000 loyalty bonuses, respectively. Additionally, there is a $1,000 conquest bonus available for drivers of eligible EVs and PHEVs from other brands, which can be stacked with other offers.

For those looking to lease, BMW is offering significant rebates on new models until September 30th. The i5, i7, and iX models come with a generous $9,900 lease credit, while the BMW XM has a $7,500 lease incentive.

If ownership is more your style, there are still great deals to be had on the 2026 BMW i7 sedan. With loyalty bonuses for previous customers and a $7,500 Loan Credit available to all buyers financing through BMW Bank, owning a new i7 is more affordable than ever. Financing rates start as low as 3.99% for up to 60 months on select models.

The BMW iX, which topped J.D. Power’s EV Satisfaction Survey last year, continues to impress with its performance and features. Interested buyers can visit their local BMW dealer to experience the iX firsthand and take advantage of the current offers.

Overall, BMW’s discounts and incentives on its 2026 electric models make it an attractive time to consider purchasing or leasing an EV from the brand. With the Federal tax incentive set to expire soon, now is the perfect opportunity to score a great deal on a new BMW electric vehicle.
