Introducing the BMW M4 CS: A Track-Ready Beast

The BMW M4 CS is a high-performance machine that has been finely tuned for maximum performance on both the road and track. Powered by a 3.0-litre straight-six engine producing 542bhp, this car is a force to be reckoned with. Let’s take a closer look at what sets the M4 CS apart from its competitors.

One of the standout features of the M4 CS is its eight-speed automatic gearbox from ZF, which delivers power to an electronically controlled limited-slip differential at the rear. The torque split between the front and rear wheels is constantly adjusting, with a bias towards the rear wheels for a more dynamic driving experience. Additionally, the CS is equipped with a lightweight titanium exhaust system that not only enhances performance but also reduces overall weight.

On the exterior, the M4 CS sports a carbonfibre diffuser at the rear and a front splitter, both of which contribute to improved aerodynamics. The negative camber on the front axle is a clear indication of the model-specific tweaks made to the suspension, springs, and anti-roll bars. These adjustments aim to enhance the car’s handling and responsiveness, making it a joy to drive on both road and track.

Weight-saving measures have also been implemented in the M4 CS, with components like the bonnet and roof made from CFRP. The car is also available with M carbon-ceramic brakes for added stopping power. Despite these enhancements, the M4 CS still manages to maintain a relatively light weight of 1747kg, making it a formidable contender in its class.

Overall, the BMW M4 CS is a track-ready beast that combines power, precision, and agility in a sleek and stylish package. With its impressive performance capabilities and aerodynamic design, the M4 CS is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone lucky enough to get behind the wheel.
