BYD Partners with Huasheng Haoche to Accelerate Adoption of New Energy Vehicles

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 11, BYD and Huasheng Haoche signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shenzhen, marking a significant milestone in their joint efforts to promote the use of new energy vehicles (NEVs). The partnership aims to enhance the consumer car-buying experience and unlock new growth opportunities in the NEV leasing field.

The collaboration between BYD and Huasheng Haoche will encompass various aspects, including NEV leasing, product customization, sales channels, and user services. This strategic alliance seeks to leverage the strengths of both companies to drive innovation and expand market reach in the rapidly growing NEV sector.

Mr. Wang Junbao, general manager of BYD’s public business division, expressed the importance of the partnership in advancing BYD’s “Tech for All” strategy. He emphasized the synergies between BYD’s technology-driven approach and Huasheng Haoche’s innovative business model, highlighting their shared goal of providing accessible mobility solutions to consumers.

As part of the agreement, Huasheng Haoche has committed to purchasing 5,000 BYD vehicles annually, covering the automaker’s full range of models. The partnership will focus on creating a vertically integrated “product + channel + service” model, combining the strengths of both companies to deliver a seamless and comprehensive customer experience.

Huasheng Haoche will introduce BYD’s popular models and collaborate on developing tailored financing solutions to cater to the unique needs of lower-tier markets. Additionally, the partnership will leverage Huasheng Haoche’s extensive offline service network, spanning over 200 cities across 28 provincial-level regions, to complement BYD’s distribution footprint and enhance EV penetration through a hybrid online and offline engagement strategy.

The partnership aims to broaden the availability of high-quality NEVs and provide flexible financial solutions to make EVs more accessible to a wider audience.

Overall, the collaboration between BYD and Huasheng Haoche signifies a significant step forward in promoting the adoption of NEVs and driving innovation in the automotive industry. Through their combined efforts, the two companies aim to revolutionize the way consumers experience and interact with electric vehicles, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
