BYD Nov sales breakdown: Song 118,743, Qin 87,046

BYD’s Song family continues to dominate as the top-selling lineup, with a remarkable 118,743 vehicles sold in November. This marks the third consecutive month of record-breaking sales for the Song family, surpassing the previous high of 114,938 units in October. The impressive sales figures represent a 92.47 percent year-on-year increase and a 3.31 percent rise from the previous month.

The Song family includes models such as the Song L EV, Song L DM-i, Song Pro DM-i in the Dynasty series, and the Song Plus EV and Song Plus DM-i in the Ocean series. In November, the Dynasty series of Song models sold 63,638 units, showing a substantial 213.23 percent year-on-year growth and a 0.50 percent increase from October. On the other hand, the Ocean series of Song models sold 55,105 units in November, indicating a 33.18 percent year-on-year rise and a 6.76 percent increase from October.

Following closely behind the Song family, the Qin family of models sold 87,046 units in November, making it the second best-selling BYD model. This represents a significant 105.10 percent year-on-year increase and a 0.53 percent rise from October. The Qin family includes models like the Qin L DM-i, Qin Plus DM-i, and Qin Plus EV.

The BYD Seal secured the position as the third best-selling model, with 56,570 units sold in November. While this marks a notable 184.84 percent year-on-year increase, there was a slight 5.55 percent dip from October. The Seal family comprises models such as the Seal 06 GT, Seal EV, Seal 06 DM-i, and the Seal 07 DM-i.

In addition to these popular models, other BYD vehicles also showed impressive sales figures in November. The Yuan family sold 56,568 units, the Seagull sold 56,459 units, the Han family sold 30,467 units, the Chaser 05 sold 24,344 units, the Dolphin sold 21,712 units, the Tang sold 15,410 units, the Sealion sold 14,608 units, the e2 sold 570 units, and the Frigate 07 sold 451 units.

BYD’s new energy vehicles encompass both passenger and commercial vehicles, with the passenger vehicle segment witnessing strong performance. The BYD brand of passenger vehicles, including the Dynasty and Ocean series, sold a total of 483,011 units in November. The Denza brand delivered 10,002 units, Fang Cheng Bao delivered 8,521 vehicles, and Yangwang delivered 302 vehicles.

Overall, BYD’s November sales figures reflect a continued strong performance in the electric vehicle market, with the Song family leading the way in sales volume. The company’s diverse range of models and sub-brands cater to various consumer preferences, further solidifying BYD’s position as a key player in the electric vehicle industry.
