BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) is making waves in the maritime industry with the introduction of its latest car carriers, the BYD Xi’an and BYD Changsha. These two vessels, each capable of carrying 9,200 vehicles, have recently begun sea trials and are expected to start operating soon.

The BYD Xi’an and BYD Changsha are the newest additions to BYD’s growing fleet of car carriers, joining the ranks of the BYD Explorer No. 1, BYD Hefei, BYD Changzhou, and BYD Shenzhen. These vessels represent some of the world’s highest cargo capacities, showcasing BYD’s commitment to innovation and efficiency in transportation.

In addition to the BYD Xi’an and BYD Changsha, another noteworthy car carrier, the BYD Shenzhen, recently made its maiden voyage to Brazil at the end of last month. With a capacity of 9,200 vehicles, the BYD Shenzhen is a testament to BYD’s dedication to expanding its global reach and delivering high-quality transportation solutions.

BYD’s success in the automotive industry has been evident in its rapid sales growth and emergence as the world’s largest new energy vehicle manufacturer. The company has set ambitious targets for the future, aiming to sell 5.5 million vehicles in 2025, including over 800,000 units in international markets.

In the first five months of this year, BYD achieved significant milestones, selling 1,763,369 new energy vehicles, representing a year-on-year increase of 38.70 percent. The company’s overseas sales also experienced substantial growth, with 374,217 vehicles sold from January to May, accounting for 21.22 percent of total sales during the same period.

As BYD continues to expand its fleet of car carriers and maintain its position as a leader in the automotive industry, the future looks promising for this innovative company. With a strong focus on sustainability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, BYD is poised to drive change and revolutionize the way vehicles are transported across the globe.
