Synland, a subsidiary of CATL, recently unveiled its newest innovation in the electric vehicle industry – the Kunshi battery-powered LCV chassis. This new development marks a significant milestone in the company’s mission to drive up demand for battery-powered commercial vehicles.

Established in 2021, Synland focuses on the development and production of new energy commercial vehicle chassis and components, leveraging CATL’s expertise in EV batteries. The Kunshi chassis, also known as a “skateboard” chassis, is specifically designed for high-efficiency light-duty truck logistics. It boasts features such as extended range, fast charging capabilities, and enhanced payload capacity, addressing common challenges faced by battery-powered light-duty trucks.

One of the key highlights of the Kunshi chassis is its performance, with the 140E version delivering battery performance equivalent to industry-standard 168kWh packs. Additionally, Synland offers a remarkable 600,000 km warranty for core components, ensuring long-term operational efficiency for users.

During the recent launch event, Synland forged strategic collaborations with prominent local commercial vehicle manufacturers like FAW Jiefang, Shaanxi Automobile, and Qingling Motors. The company also secured over 16,000 pre-orders from various local logistics firms, indicating a strong market demand for its innovative chassis technology.

The development of the Kunshi chassis signifies a significant step forward in the electrification of commercial vehicles, offering a sustainable and efficient solution for the transportation industry. With Synland’s commitment to driving innovation and sustainability, the future of battery-powered commercial vehicles looks promising.
