Chery Automobile Expands Spare Parts Warehouse in the Middle East
Chinese automaker Chery Automobile has recently inaugurated a new spare parts warehouse in the Middle East in collaboration with JINGDONG Logistics (JDL). This new facility is set to enhance Chery’s supply chain capabilities in the region and ensure timely and accurate spare parts supply for various vehicle models across Chery Holding’s five brands.
The state-of-the-art warehouse stocks tens of thousands of automotive component types, catering to everything from small nuts and bolts to large complex items like engines and transmissions. JDL, responsible for customs clearance and transportation of shipments, ensures that all incoming goods undergo quality inspections before being stored in designated locations within the warehouse. The facility is strategically divided into five main areas – inbound, outbound, high-bay storage, mezzanine shelves, and bulk storage – each equipped with intelligent inventory management technologies for enhanced efficiency and cost reduction.
Thanks to an advanced logistics management system and optimized warehouse design, the processing efficiency of the warehouse has significantly improved. Stock preparation is now completed within 2 to 4 hours, providing a rapid and efficient service experience for Chery’s clients in the Middle East. With coverage across the Middle East and North Africa, the spare parts warehouse is poised to elevate Chery’s presence and customer service in the region.
The collaboration between Chery Automobile and JINGDONG Logistics marks a significant milestone in enhancing the automotive industry’s supply chain capabilities in the Middle East. Customers can now expect quicker turnaround times and seamless spare parts availability for their Chery vehicles, further solidifying the brand’s reputation for quality and reliability.
