Chery Achieves Milestone with Rollout of 15 Millionth Vehicle
On October 19th, Chery celebrated a significant achievement with the production of its 15 millionth vehicle, the impressive CHERY Fulwin A9 mid-size sedan. This new model features a cutting-edge design and is equipped with a C-DM plug-in hybrid system and electric all-wheel drive. In addition to this milestone, Chery has announced plans to introduce eight more models by 2025.
The Fulwin A9 showcases a striking exterior design with a modern and sophisticated appearance. The closed-off front grille, elongated headlights, and chrome-accented side air intakes give the vehicle a sporty character. The narrow, trapezoidal grille adds to the overall appeal of the car.
With a graceful roofline reminiscent of the EXEED ES, the Fulwin A9’s side profile features a dynamic silhouette. The flowing roofline, gently sloping front, and rising rear create an aesthetically pleasing design. The addition of hidden door handles enhances the car’s aerodynamic performance.
At the rear, the Fulwin A9 boasts a full-width taillight design with dual light elements on each side. Chrome trim on the rear bumper adds depth and visual appeal to the car. The hidden exhaust tips contribute to the vehicle’s sleek and sophisticated look.

The Fulwin A9 is powered by a C-DM plug-in hybrid system, combining a 1.5T dedicated hybrid engine with a 150 kW drive motor. Paired with a 1-speed DHT hybrid transmission, the system offers a pure electric range of over 200 km and a combined range of over 1500 km in CLTC conditions. The vehicle also features front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, enhanced by a CDC magnetic suspension system. Intelligent electric all-wheel drive, speed-controlled electric spoiler, and high-performance brakes with six-piston fixed calipers further enhance the driving dynamics of the Fulwin A9.
