China’s Kankan Tech, Leadmove ink agreement to advance Level 2+ smart driving solutions

Chinese Companies Kankan Tech and Leadmove Partner to Advance Smart Driving Solutions

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 13, Beijing Kankan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (Kankan Tech), a Chinese full-stack optical image solution provider, signed a strategic agreement with Leadmove, an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) developer, to collaborate on Level 2+ smart driving solutions.

The collaboration between Kankan Tech and Leadmove aims to drive innovation in the ADAS platform and intelligent mobility solutions. By combining their technological expertise and market resources, the two companies plan to develop intelligent driving technologies and products for the new energy commercial vehicle sector, with future plans to expand into passenger vehicles and related industries. Additionally, they will work together to create Level 2+ smart driving imaging products and system solutions.

Kankan Tech specializes in core optical imaging technologies, providing integrated hardware and software imaging solutions for industries such as mobile phones, automotive, IoT, metaverse, and industrial vision. In the automotive sector, the company focuses on developing in-vehicle system products and imaging services, including a 32M retractable imaging system for smart cockpits, CMS, palm vein biometric recognition systems, and ADAS devices.

Leadmove focuses on AI algorithm development and edge computing platform design. The company offers AI-based front-view ADAS products, AI perception algorithms, vehicle control algorithms, and multi-core heterogeneous ADAS domain controllers. Their Level 2+ ADAS products boast high computational power and low power consumption, making them ideal for automotive industry production.

With this strategic partnership, Kankan Tech and Leadmove are poised to advance smart driving solutions and drive innovation in the automotive industry.
