The funding round was co-invested by Yulin Coal Conversion Fund and the Yuyang District government, demonstrating strong support for SuperPanther’s innovative technologies and market potential.

Established in 2022, SuperPanther is a leading new energy commercial vehicle manufacturer founded by a team from Tsinghua University’s Department of Automotive Engineering and former executives from Continental AG. The company focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation in the new energy transportation sector.

In April 2024, SuperPanther launched the SuperPanther Black Diamond Intelligent eTruck, featuring advanced technologies designed to optimize energy consumption, efficiency, recharging capabilities, and performance in challenging conditions. The eTruck has been well-received in the market, with large-scale deliveries commencing in August of the same year.

Since the launch of the eTruck, SuperPanther has collaborated with clients to unlock new transportation opportunities in mountainous regions, long-distance routes, and extreme weather conditions, showcasing the versatility and reliability of its innovative solutions.

In September 2024, SuperPanther introduced its “Enabler” strategy in Europe, outlining its commitment to collaboration with global OEMs and ecosystem partners to drive the adoption of electric heavy-duty truck solutions on a global scale. The company’s partnership with European automotive company Steyr Automotive has resulted in the development of a new series of electric heavy-duty trucks set to revolutionize the industry.
