The Cupra Tindaya Concept Car: A Glimpse into the Future of Design
The upcoming Cupra Tindaya concept car is set to make its debut at the highly anticipated Munich motor show next month. Named after the volcanic mountain on the Atlantic island of Fuerteventura, the concept car is said to embody the essence of Cupra’s signature design language.
Scheduled for unveiling on 8 September, the focus of the Tindaya concept will be on showcasing the brand’s vision for the future of interior design. Cupra has described the concept as delivering the ultimate driver-focused experience, aiming to elevate the emotions of the driver through a unique and immersive driving experience.
Teasing a glimpse of the radical new cabin, the brand released a preview image that hints at a futuristic design reminiscent of the DarkRebel concept unveiled in 2023. The interior features a distinctive yoke-like steering wheel, a chunky central spine inspired by the electric Tavascan, and what appears to be racing seats, all designed to blend seamlessly with the driver and the machine.
While details about the Tindaya concept remain scarce, Cupra has confirmed that it will also showcase the evolution of its exterior design language. This follows a comprehensive range-wide redesign last year that brought a cohesive look across the lineup, bridging the gap between electric and combustion models with a refreshed front end design.
Accompanying the Tindaya concept will be a camouflaged production version of the new Raval, Cupra’s Volkswagen ID 2 twin. Set to launch in 2026 as the brand’s entry-level model, the Raval is positioned to compete with the Renault 5 and is expected to be priced around £25,000.
