Dodge is making waves in the automotive industry with the introduction of the “world’s only” four-door muscle car. The upcoming 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona EV is set to join the lineup, offering a unique blend of performance and practicality.
Last week, Dodge announced that the entry-level Charger Daytona R/T would not be offered for the 2026 model year due to ongoing assessments of US tariff policies. However, the brand surprised enthusiasts by unveiling the four-door electric Charger during a first drive event in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
According to Dodge CEO Matt McAlear, the new sedan boasts the same widebody exterior, driver-centric interior, and muscle car performance as its coupe counterpart, with the added benefit of four-door practicality. The Charger Daytona EV features a coupe-like design with a wide body, making a powerful statement on the road.
The interior of the Charger Daytona EV is designed for both comfort and functionality, with a spacious “hidden hatch” interior that offers best-in-class rear cargo and passenger space. The sedan comes equipped with a 16″ infotainment system, a 12.3″ driver display, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities.
Both the two-door and four-door models of the 2026 Charger Daytona Scat Pack feature different drive modes, Dodge’s Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system, and Powershot technology, which delivers an extra 40 hp for 10 seconds at the push of a button. The Track Package, available for both models, offers the largest brake package ever offered for a Dodge vehicle.
With a level 3 charger, the 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona EV can recharge from 20% to 80% in as little as 24 minutes, making it convenient for daily use. The sedan also offers new “Fratzog dual stripes” and gloss paint hood options for a personalized touch.
For performance enthusiasts, both the two-door and four-door 2026 Charger models offer “Hellcat Redeye levels of performance,” with 670 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. Orders are now open for the upcoming Charger models, with deliveries expected to begin later this year.
To make room for the 2026 models, Dodge is offering significant discounts on the outgoing Charger Daytona EV, with savings of up to $13,500 available. If you’re interested in exploring the 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona models, you can visit our link to view available inventory near you today.
