Chinese Automaker Dongfeng Motor Celebrates Topping-Off Ceremony of Global Styling Design Center
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Dongfeng Motor celebrated the topping-off ceremony of its global styling design center in Wuhan, Hubei province, on December 29, marking a significant milestone in advancing its design leadership strategy and high-quality development goals.

The global styling design center spans a 20,000-square-meter site with a total construction area of 48,500 square meters, featuring five floors above ground and one underground. Towering at 31.95 meters tall, the facility is set to become the central hub of Dongfeng Motor’s “three countries, four locations” global design network.
Equipped with cutting-edge remote mixed-reality technology, the center will facilitate 24-hour seamless collaboration among design teams across different locations. It can simultaneously support up to eight new design projects and manage over 50 design initiatives annually. Once completed, it will stand as the first comprehensive design complex globally capable of developing designs for a varied range of passenger and commercial vehicles, as per Dongfeng Motor.
Dongfeng Motor intends to utilize the global styling design center as a platform to boost R&D investments, enhance technological innovation, and elevate product quality and brand image. The center will embrace advanced design concepts and frontier technologies to cultivate a globally competitive design team, reinforcing the automaker’s commitment to innovation-driven growth.
