Overseas Exports of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Surge 32% in H1 2024

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In a recent announcement on July 10, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Company (DPCA) revealed a remarkable 32% year-on-year increase in its overseas exports during the first half of 2024. This surge signifies the steady progress of the company’s strategic transformation.

The strategic direction for DPCA was outlined by Dongfeng Motor and STELLANTIS last October, focusing on a global sales strategy to build a new DPCA. This transformation has paved the way for significant advancements in the company’s overseas operations.

During the first half of 2024, DPCA established a global business division to elevate the strategic importance of its export business. By enhancing systems, mechanisms, and assembling a top-tier team, the company successfully entered 11 regional markets across the globe.

Furthermore, DPCA has accelerated its digital marketing transformation in 2024, intensifying its new media matrix operations to boost customer engagement. This initiative aims to showcase the unique appeal of Dongfeng Citroën and Dongfeng Peugeot brands to a wider audience.

Leveraging DPCA’s global benchmark factories and production capacity, Dongfeng Motor is utilizing its manufacturing resources to expedite the transition to new energy vehicles. Currently, three new energy vehicle projects are in progress, with the first model slated for mass production in 2025.
