DreamSmart Group, previously known as Xingji Meizu, has officially launched the official Weibo account for its STARAUTO automotive business unit. The venture, a collaboration between Xingjishidai, Meizu, and Polestar, aims to redefine automobiles with a passion for innovation.

The first post on the STARAUTO Weibo account hints at exciting announcements to come, promising a new era in the automotive industry. The company’s vision is to create a “DreamCar” specifically designed for Meizu smartphone fans. The MEIZU DreamCar MX will be the first vehicle to be launched, based on the SEA platform and Geely’s Industry 4.0 manufacturing capabilities.

One of the unique aspects of DreamSmart’s approach is giving consumers the opportunity to have a say in the design of their vehicle. Users can customize details such as exterior wraps, interior color schemes, and Flyme Auto themes, allowing for a personalized driving experience. In a groundbreaking move, purchasers of the Meizu 21 smartphone will have the option to use the full value of their phone towards the purchase of the DreamCar.

Back in May, the Meizu-affiliated website briefly teased information about new vehicles, including the Meizu MX with the Flyme Auto in-car operating system. However, all details about these planned vehicles have since been removed from the site, building anticipation for the official launch.

In an interview in July, DreamSmart’s COO, Liao Qinghong, confirmed that STARAUTO vehicles will make their debut within the year. These vehicles will offer unique functionalities that set them apart from traditional automakers, promising an exciting new chapter in the automotive industry.

Stay tuned for more updates from STARAUTO as they continue to push boundaries and redefine the future of automotive technology.
