Drivers of Change: New Talent 2025 – entry deadline extended

The Autocar Drivers of Change: New Talent awards deadline has been extended to Wednesday 24 September, giving you more time to submit your nominations. In partnership with the SMMT, these awards aim to recognize individuals who are apprentices or within the first two years of their career, as well as the companies that support them.

The goal of the Drivers of Change awards is to showcase the automotive industry as a diverse and inclusive place to build a successful career, regardless of background. The New Talent edition celebrates those who have already made an impact in their early roles within the industry. The standout stars and the company that excels in supporting new talent will be honored at a ceremony at Stellantis’s UK headquarters in Coventry on 13 November.

We encourage you to nominate deserving individuals within your organization, regardless of their specific sector within the automotive industry. Entries are now open, and you can submit your nominations through the provided link.

There are no specific categories for nominations, and anyone recognized as an Autocar Driver of Change can proudly carry that title. Previously, 40 individuals were acknowledged in the inaugural Autocar Drivers of Change for their contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

This event is part of Autocar’s refreshed calendar of events, which includes the annual Autocar Great Women celebration and, every other year, the Rising Stars recognition. The Drivers of Change awards will now take place in the autumn, following this new scheduling pattern for future editions.

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate and support the new talent in the automotive industry. Submit your nominations and help us recognize those making a difference in their early careers.
