Chinese Lithium Battery Supplier EVE Energy Secures Designated Supply Notice from FAW Bestune

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- EVE Energy, a prominent Chinese lithium battery supplier, announced on February 6 that its subsidiary, Hubei EVE Power Co., Ltd., has been designated as the supplier of large cylindrical batteries for FAW Bestune.

EVE Energy expressed that this recognition from FAW Bestune signifies the performance and supply capabilities of its large cylindrical batteries, further solidifying the company’s position in the lithium-ion power battery market.

EVE Energy has already established partnerships with leading automakers such as BMW Group, Dayun Automobile, JAC Group, and Changan Automobile for the supply of large cylindrical batteries.

In a significant move in September 2024, EVE Energy signed a strategic agreement with Geely’s Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group to collaborate on business policies, technology, and market promotion in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector. This partnership aims to enhance brand recognition, reputation, and market share globally.

The company also collaborates with XPENG, providing batteries for multiple models including the G3, P5, P7, G9, and X9. Notably, EVE Energy’s batteries are standard in the XPENG P7+ model across its entire lineup.

Expanding beyond passenger vehicles, EVE Energy is making strides in electrifying commercial vehicle segments. Its batteries are utilized in buses, logistics vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, and construction machinery for clients like Farizon, Dongfeng Motor, and Foton Motor.

In 2024, EVE Energy updated its prospectus for a public offering of convertible corporate bonds. The company plans to issue up to 5 billion yuan in convertible bonds to support battery production expansion, with a focus on a 23GWh cylindrical lithium iron phosphate energy storage and power battery project, as well as a 21GWh large cylindrical power battery project for passenger vehicles.
