BMW executive Stefan Floeck confirmed that the MINI John Cooper Works and John Cooper Works Aceman models are now being produced at Spotlight Automotive’s Zhangjiagang plant. These models are expected to make a splash in the Chinese market in the near future.

Chery is also making waves in the electric vehicle market with the upcoming release of the STERRA ES range-extended electric version. Boasting a 255-km battery-powered range and a 1,645 km combined range, the STERRA ES offers impressive performance and range. With four trim levels available during presale, priced between 162,800 yuan and 219,800 yuan, Chery is poised to attract a wide range of customers with this innovative electric vehicle.

Other notable news includes the launch of BYD’s second-generation Yuan PLUS Intelligent Driving Edition, the pre-orders for the AITO M9 2025 edition, the introduction of Synland’s Kunshi Chassis for new energy commercial vehicles, the establishment of a joint low-altitude flight safety laboratory by EHang, and FAW Jiefang’s MoU with an Australian dealer to expand its presence in the Australian market.
