One of the key initiatives of this collaboration is the establishment of at least 10 new sales outlets by 2025 to support the growth of FAW Audi’s dealership network. Furthermore, both companies will work together to explore new business opportunities in the NEV sector and other emerging markets, providing consumers with a more diverse range of brands and products.
In 2024, FAW Audi achieved impressive sales figures, with a total of 611,088 vehicles sold, including 550,136 domestically produced oil-fueled vehicles. The momentum continued into 2025, with 54,270 vehicles sold in January and 33,630 vehicles sold in February, demonstrating year-on-year growth.
Looking ahead, FAW Audi remains committed to its dual-track strategy of developing both oil-fueled vehicles and NEVs to meet the changing preferences of Chinese consumers. In 2025, the joint venture plans to introduce five new models, such as the Audi A5L, the new Audi Q5L, and the new Audi A6L e-tron. These models will feature an advanced intelligent driving assistance system developed in partnership with Huawei, offering enhanced safety, efficiency, comfort, and luxury for Chinese customers.
