Ford Mustang Mach-E can be leased for less than a Toyota Camry

Ford is currently offering significant savings on its electric vehicles, with the Ford Mustang Mach-E available for lease at a lower cost than a Toyota Camry in certain regions, despite the Mach-E’s higher price tag. This presents a great opportunity for potential buyers to save money while driving an electric vehicle.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E has been a popular choice among consumers, with over 51,700 models sold in 2024, making it the third best-selling EV in the US after Tesla’s Model Y and Model 3. In a surprising turn of events, the electric Mach-E even outsold the gas-powered Mustang for the first time last year. To stay competitive in the market with new electric vehicle models like the Honda Prologue and the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5, Ford has introduced significant discounts at the beginning of this year.

Ford’s “Power Promise” program, which was extended in January, offers all EV buyers a free Level 2 home charger with standard installation costs covered by the company. Additionally, existing home charger owners can receive a $1,000 charging credit from Ford.

According to a report by CarsDirect, the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E can be leased for as low as $229 per month for 24 months in Southern California, with $4,329 due at signing, resulting in an effective monthly cost of $409. This deal applies to the base model Mach-E Select with an MSRP of $39,995 and includes a $7,750 lease cash bonus.

In comparison, the 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE, with an MSRP of $28,400, is listed at $299 per month for 39 months with $3,598 due upfront, bringing the effective rate to $391 per month. However, when factoring in Ford’s additional incentives such as a $1,000 charging credit and $1,000 conquest bonus cash for current Tesla owners, the effective monthly lease rate for the Mach-E can be reduced to just $326 per month, making it even cheaper than a 2025 Toyota Corolla LE priced at $22,325.

Ford is also offering the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E with 0% APR for 72 months plus $2,500 in bonus cash, providing another attractive option for potential buyers. Additionally, new incentives have been introduced for the F-150 Lightning, with nationwide 0% financing for 72 months available along with savings of up to $5,000 off MSRP.

Overall, Ford’s current offers on electric vehicles present a great opportunity for buyers to save money while driving a high-quality electric vehicle. With a range of incentives and discounts available, now is a great time to consider making the switch to an electric vehicle from Ford.
