Ford has introduced a new version of the Mustang Mach-E, inspired by rally cars like the Porsche 911 Dakar and Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato. The Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally is based on the high-performance Mach-E GT, featuring a 480bhp dual-motor setup. To enhance its rough-road capabilities, the Mach-E Rally has been given a 20mm suspension lift with reprogrammed magnetorheological dampers.
One of the standout features of the Mach-E Rally is its white rally-style wheels, which are slightly smaller than the ones on the GT model to accommodate taller sidewalls on the all-season tires. Additionally, skidplates have been added to protect the front and rear motors. The Rally Sport drive mode allows for a more relaxed stability control and linear accelerator response, making it easier to slide the car on loose surfaces.
In terms of aesthetics, Ford has added some cosmetic touches to the Mach-E Rally, including a Focus RS-inspired spoiler, a striping pack, and gloss white accents in the interior. While the interior remains largely unchanged from the Mach-E GT, with the exception of gloss white inserts on the seats and steering wheel, the technology and functionality are top-notch.
Although the Mach-E Rally may not be as hardcore as some of the pricier ruggedized supercars on the market, it offers a fun and stylish way to spice up an electric SUV. In the UK, the Mach-E Rally is available as a £2250 option pack on the GT model. With its rally-inspired design elements and enhanced off-road capabilities, the Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally is sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
