Future of camping? We spend a night with Dacia’s £2000 sleep pack

The Dacia Duster Sleep Pack: A Review

When it comes to camping in your car, convenience and comfort are key. The Dacia Duster Sleep Pack aims to provide both, allowing you to turn your Dacia Duster into a cozy sleeping space for those nights on the road. But is it as easy to set up as it claims to be?

First things first, setting up the bed. Lowering the rear seats and pushing the front seats forward, you then pull out the wooden bed base and clip it into place. The mattress is easy to fold out, and with the addition of side cushions and window blackouts, your bed is ready in no time. While it may seem like a bit of a faff at first, the setup process is relatively straightforward.

Now, onto the tent. Connecting one side of the tent to the Dacia’s open boot poses a bit of a challenge, as the open side allows wind to get in, causing the tent to constantly try to fly away. This can make securing the tent a bit tricky, especially when dealing with unruly winds.

Overall, the Dacia Duster Sleep Pack offers a convenient solution for turning your car into a comfortable sleeping space. While the setup process may have its challenges, once everything is in place, you’ll have a cozy bed to rest in during your adventures on the road.
