GAC has recently unveiled the official interior images of their upcoming flagship electric crossover, the Hyptec HL. This luxurious SUV promises MPV-level comfort, featuring two independent captain chairs in the second row with an 18-point massage function. The Hyptec HL is set to make its debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 15.

Hyptec is a high-end NEV brand under GAC, formerly known as “Hyper” before being rebranded as Hyptec in 2024 to align with their international expansion strategy. The brand’s lineup includes the GT sedan, HT fastback SUV, and SSR sports car, with the Hyptec HL being the latest addition as a full-size flagship SUV.

The interior of the Hyptec HL is designed to set new standards in the luxury SUV segment. The center console features a large floating screen, a gear shifter, and touch-sensitive controls, while the second row boasts two luxurious captain chairs with red Nappa leather upholstery. These seats offer 12-way electric adjustment, an 18-point massage function, and a zero-gravity mode with a 127.5-degree angle.

In addition to the advanced seating features, the Hyptec HL also includes two seats in the third row, a large sunroof, and a premium Hyptec-branded acoustic system. The SUV is built on an 800V high-voltage platform, enabling 5C DC charging for rapid charging capabilities. Optional features include a dual-motor 4WD system, air suspension, and an AI-powered ADIGO 6.0 driving assistance system.

GAC’s expertise in manufacturing MPVs is evident in the design of the Hyptec HL’s interior, as they aim to bring high-end MPV solutions to the SUV segment. The unique features and luxurious appointments of the Hyptec HL are poised to redefine the high-end crossover segment. The pricing details for the Hyptec HL have yet to be disclosed, but it is expected to compete strongly in the luxury SUV market.
