Geely Auto Group Achieves Record-Breaking Sales in October 2024
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited, known as Geely Auto Group, has announced its car sales results for October 2024, setting new records for both monthly vehicle sales volume and new energy vehicle (NEV) sales.
In October 2024, the Group sold a total of 226,686 vehicles, marking a significant increase of 28% compared to the same period last year. This brings the year-to-date sales figure to 1,716,376 vehicles, reflecting a remarkable year-on-year growth of 32%.

Notably, the Group reported a surge in NEV sales, with 108,722 units sold in October 2024, marking an impressive year-on-year increase of 83%. Sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) reached 78,858 units and 29,864 units, growing by 132% and 17% respectively compared to the previous year.
Year-to-date NEV sales for Geely Auto Group reached 654,576 units by October 2024, with 408,192 BEVs and 246,384 PHEVs sold, representing year-on-year growth rates of 66% and 154% respectively.
Additionally, the Group saw an increase in export volume, with 32,544 vehicles exported in October 2024, up by 18% from the same period last year. From January to October, Geely Auto Group exported a total of 346,582 vehicles, marking a substantial 62% increase compared to the previous year.
Breaking down the October sales by brand, Geely-branded vehicles accounted for 170,563 units sold, showing a 22% year-over-year increase. The brand’s NEV range, Galaxy, saw sales of 63,492 units, an 83% increase from the previous year. ZEEKR and Lynk & Co brands also reported impressive growth rates of 92% and 26% respectively, with 25,049 and 31,074 vehicles sold in October.
