Geely, a prominent Chinese automaker, has recently unveiled its first light off-road SUV named Cowboy. The vehicle made its debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show, where it started pre-sale with two trim options priced at 95,900 yuan (approximately 13,300 USD) and 101,900 yuan (about 14,000 USD). The official launch of the Geely Cowboy is scheduled for later this month.

The Geely Cowboy boasts a stylish off-road square box design, accentuated by a robust front grille, front guard plate, wide wheel eyebrows, and a roof-mounted off-road equipment rack with a cargo area of 1.3m² and a maximum load capacity of 50 kg. Additionally, it features a rear “backpack” with a built-in mesh bag separation area for storing wet items like umbrellas and rain boots. The exterior elements such as door handles, exterior mirrors, and body logos are all blackened, giving the vehicle a rugged and sporty look. Customers can also opt for 17-inch off-road AT tires with red calipers to enhance the off-road capability of the Geely Cowboy.

The headlights of the Geely Cowboy are vertically oriented and equipped with full LED three-lens lighting for improved visibility in various driving conditions. The side profile of the vehicle showcases a multifunctional tool kit container and anti-scratch surrounds for added durability.

Available in four exterior paint options – Snow White, Jungle Green, Volcanic Gray, and Desert Brown, the Geely Cowboy is positioned as a compact SUV. It measures 4442 mm in length, 1860 mm in width, 1770 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2640 mm.

Moving to the interior, the Geely Cowboy features a modern cockpit with an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel, a 14.6-inch 1920×1080 resolution central control screen, and an EcarX E02 cockpit chip powering the system. The Flyme Auto operating system provides seamless connectivity and functionality for the driver and passengers. The vehicle is equipped with a range of features including desktop customization, a 6-way electric adjustable driver’s seat, rear air conditioning vents, 256-color ambient lights, mobile phone remote control, level 2 advanced assistance driving functions, and 42 storage spaces throughout the cabin.
