Geely Galaxy, a sub-brand of Geely Auto, has recently introduced the updated LEVC L380 MPV, offering a significant price reduction compared to its predecessor. The new starting price for the LEVC L380 is RMB 299,900 ($41,310), which is RMB 80,000, or 26.68 percent, lower than before.

The official launch event for the updated LEVC L380 took place recently, showcasing the new model with its attractive pricing. Previously, the L380 was part of the Geely unit London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) product lineup. However, on March 3, Geely announced that Geely Galaxy had been upgraded from a product lineup to a new brand, bringing the LEVC under its umbrella as a premium MPV range.

The updated L380 is available in five variants, with prices starting at RMB 299,900 and going up to RMB 599,900 for the Collector Edition variant, which is limited to five units per month. The dimensions of the L380 remain the same as its predecessor, with a length of 5,316 mm, a width of 1,998 mm, and a height of 1,940 mm, along with a wheelbase of 3,185 mm.

This six-seat MPV also offers an eight-seat option in one of its variants priced at RMB 369,900. Customers can choose from three battery pack options, with capacities of 100 kWh, 116 kWh, and 140 kWh, providing a CLTC range of at least 570 km to 825 km. The 140 kWh pack is a Qilin Battery from CATL, also used in Zeekr’s Zeekr 009 MPV.

The model features a single motor with peak power options of 200 kW and 400 kW, as well as peak torque of 343 Nm and 686 Nm, respectively. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.5 seconds or 8.9 seconds.

LEVC, founded in 1908, was acquired by Geely in 2006 and became wholly owned in 2013. Known for manufacturing black cabs in London, LEVC is one of Geely’s brands, alongside Lotus, Zeekr, Volvo, and Polestar.

In conclusion, the updated LEVC L380 from Geely Galaxy offers a compelling combination of performance, features, and pricing, making it a competitive option in the premium MPV segment. With its sleek design, advanced technology, and range of options, the L380 is set to appeal to a wide range of customers looking for a versatile and efficient vehicle.
