Geely Galaxy, a sub-brand of Geely Auto, is all set to launch its new A7 hybrid sedan, which promises impressive fuel efficiency and range. The A7 boasts a fuel consumption of just 2 liters per 100 kilometers when running on low battery power, with a combined range of up to 2,100 kilometers. This makes it a highly efficient and practical option for eco-conscious drivers.

In May, Geely Galaxy reported a significant increase in sales, with 101,845 vehicles sold, marking a remarkable 273 percent year-on-year growth. This success highlights the growing popularity of Geely’s vehicles in the market.

The A7 hybrid sedan was recently previewed on Weibo, giving a glimpse of its design and key specifications. The sedan measures 4,918 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845 mm. It is equipped with a 1,499 ml engine that delivers a peak power output of 82 kW. The model features lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries supplied by reputable companies like CALB and CATL.

The A7 is expected to join Geely Galaxy’s existing sedan lineup, which includes models like the hybrid Starshine 8 and L6, as well as the all-electric E8. This launch signifies Geely’s commitment to expanding its presence in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector and offering innovative and sustainable transportation solutions.

In May, Geely Auto reported overall sales of 235,208 vehicles, representing a year-on-year increase of 46.40 percent. The company’s PHEV sales saw a 76 percent year-on-year growth, while BEV sales surged by 178 percent. Geely Galaxy’s impressive sales performance further solidifies its position as a key player in the automotive industry.
