Farizon to Introduce Electric Supervan to UK Market

Geely’s commercial vehicles arm, Farizon, is gearing up to launch its electric Supervan in the UK, positioning it as a competitor to the Ford E-Transit Custom and the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric.

The Farizon SV, short for Supervan, is built on an electric vehicle-specific platform with batteries placed underneath the cargo bay floor for optimal space utilization.

Offered in three different body lengths and heights, the Supervan comes in various configurations to meet different needs. The smallest version is 4.99m long and 1.98m tall, the mid-sized model measures 5.49m long and 2.18m tall, while the largest variant stretches to 5.95m long and 2.5m tall.

With payload capacities ranging from 1100kg to 1300kg and cargo bay volumes from 6.9 cubic metres to 13 cubic metres, the Supervan offers ample space for various commercial applications.

At launch, two battery options will be available – 67kWh and 83kWh, with the latter providing an impressive 225-mile range on a single charge. A larger 106kWh battery pack is also in the works to extend the range even further.

Inside, the Supervan features seating for three occupants and boasts two displays – a small dashboard-mounted screen for instrumentation and a larger central infotainment touchscreen.

While Farizon has not disclosed details on additional bodystyles or variants for the UK market, the Supervan is currently offered in China as a seven- and nine-seat minibus, as well as a camper van.

Although pricing has not been confirmed, the Supervan is expected to be competitively priced below the E-Transit Custom and the Vivaro Electric, making it an attractive option for businesses looking to electrify their fleets.

Exclusive distribution in the UK will be handled by Jameel Motors, a Saudi Arabia-based company, with deliveries scheduled to begin in mid-2025.
