Geely Auto (HKG: 0175) has recently made significant strides in expanding its presence in the Latin American market with the opening of new flagship stores in Chile and Nicaragua. The Chinese automaker’s first flagship store in Chile is located in the Movicenter automotive district in Santiago, offering a range of sales, service, and product experience functions to local customers. The store’s launch also coincided with the introduction of the Coolray Lite compact SUV in the Chilean market.

Geely has been active in Chile for about six months and has already introduced popular models such as the Okavango, Starray, and Geely EX5 to local consumers. With a total of 25 sales and service outlets established in Chile, Geely continues to strengthen its presence in the country’s automotive market.

In Nicaragua, Geely has opened its first showroom on Masaya Avenue in Managua, showcasing the seven-seat SUV Okavango to local customers. Since entering the Nicaraguan market in October 2024, Geely has quickly become the second most popular Chinese automotive brand in the country, highlighting its growing popularity and appeal among consumers.

Similar to other Chinese automakers like BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY), Geely is actively expanding its reach into overseas markets to capitalize on new opportunities and increase its global footprint. Recently, Geely completed the trial production of the first EX5 SUV at its Puwakarta factory in Indonesia, signaling its commitment to further expanding its manufacturing capabilities and production capacity in key international markets.

With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, Geely continues to make strategic investments and partnerships to drive its growth and success in the competitive global automotive industry. By expanding into new markets and introducing popular models to diverse customer segments, Geely is positioning itself for long-term success and sustainable growth in the Latin American region and beyond.
